marca terms of use
by using marca, you agree to these terms.
Last updated: April 28, 2026
What Marca is
Marca is a workout tracking app designed to help you log workouts, view progression, and manage your training data on your device.
Marca is built as a local-first app. Your workout data is stored on your device, not on my servers.
Subscriptions and payments
Marca offers a 7-day free trial for new users.
After the trial, access may require a paid subscription. Current subscription options and pricing are shown in the app and on the App Store before you subscribe.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Apple manages billing, renewals, cancellation, and refunds through your App Store account.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings -> [your name] -> Subscriptions -> Marca.
If you have already purchased a subscription, you can also use Restore Purchases in the app.
Your data
You own the workout data you create in Marca.
I do not have access to that data, cannot review it, and cannot recover it for you.
If you uninstall the app, the local data stored by Marca may be deleted from your device.
If you choose to export or share your data, you are responsible for what you do with that exported copy.
Health and device features
Some features may use Apple Health, Apple Watch, or external heart-rate devices if you enable them and grant permission.
Marca is a logging tool. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, personal training advice, or a substitute for professional care.
Heart-rate readings, workout summaries, and other health-related values can be inaccurate or incomplete because they depend on device sensors, permissions, and Apple’s systems. You are responsible for your training decisions and for using the app in a safe and sensible way.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Marca only for lawful, personal use.
You may not:
- reverse engineer the app
- copy or resell the app
- use the app in a way that violates applicable law
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Marca is provided on an “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for:
- loss of data
- injuries, health issues, or training outcomes
- indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
If the law allows a limitation of liability, the maximum liability related to Marca will not exceed the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
I may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If I do, I will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Marca after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes will be handled by the courts of the Netherlands, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
